According to reports, as of October 9, the in-factory inventory of primary lead delivery brands stood at 10,700 mt, an increase of 8,000 mt WoW.
In October, primary lead smelters gradually resumed production after maintenance, leading to a slight increase in lead ingot supply compared to pre-holiday levels. Coupled with the gradual production resumptions of secondary lead enterprises, the overall supply increment is expected to be gradually realized. During the National Day holiday, downstream enterprises generally took holidays to varying degrees, resulting in a lack of lead consumption and some inventory buildup at lead smelters. Meanwhile, thanks to the concentrated stockpiling by downstream enterprises before the holiday and pre-purchases of a certain quantity of lead ingots for the holiday period, the inventory buildup at primary lead smelters after the holiday remained relatively small and within expectations.
